When the ballistic missile was launched on the 12th, a "security situation inspection meeting" was held under the chairmanship of the National Security Office Kim Sung-han.

Based on cooperation between the U.S. and South Korea, President Yoon called for close cooperation with the international community to thoroughly implement sanctions against North Korea, including U.N. Security Council resolutions.

He then ordered real measures such as maintaining a constant readiness posture and curbing expansion agreed upon between the leaders of the U.S. and South Korea.

In this regard, the South Korean military conducted an ‘Elephant Walk exercise’ in which about 30 F-15Ks were armed and ran on the ground until just before takeoff.

The government issued a statement after the NSC meeting and strongly condemned this situation.
