    “LeadersTimes Student Press Brings Education Aid and Culture Exchange to Cambodian Children”
        To support the ongoing mission of the NGO Angels for Journey, members of the LeadersTimes student press visited Siem Reap, Cambodia from June 14–16, 2025, engaging in cultural exchange and educational support with local children. The team collaborated with Hased Bible Church, led by a Korean missionary working to improve the lives of underprivileged Cambodian youth.   The visit began on June 14, after an overnight stay at Kouprey Hotel, with the group arriving at Hased Bible Church. The Cambodian children warmly welcomed the visitors with traditional dance performances, which volunteers joined on stage. They then read a translated Cambodian folktale, Nom Banh Chok, and introduced traditional Korean games such as Jegichagi, Gonggi, Takji, and Yut Nori. Among the participants, children like Chhiou and Sombat showed strong enthusiasm and skill, even teachingthe volunteers origami and paper plane techniques.   One student volunteer reflected, “Despite being the same age, they felt smaller and more burdened by life’s hardships. It made me realize how unequal the access to education truly is.” The team donated 1 iPad, 7 smartphones, 1 laptop, as well as food and school supplies to help bridge the digital and educational gap for the children.   On June 15, the team visited two more community churches: The Tent of David in Mondul 3 and Bethel Takam. At Mondul 3, the children again performed cultural dances and engaged in reading and games. A student named Meyyeon helped the volunteers learn the dances and impressed them with her fluent English skills. The group donated additional educational supplies, scholarships, and smartphones to support her academic growth.   The final stop at Bethel Takam, the largest of the visited churches with over 60 attendees, concluded the outreach. The team observed vibrant community participation and distributed aid, reinforcing their commitment to educational equity.   “This experience deepened my awareness of inequality and strengthened my resolve to continue Angels for Journey efforts,” a volunteer stated.
