• The ministry of Education started to distribute 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test's Questionnaire and answer sheet to Korea's 84 test district

    The ministry of Education will distribute the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test's questionnaire and answer sheet to Korea's 84 test district from November 13 to November 15.   City and provincial education office staffs and Central cooperation officers of the ministry of Education will be participate in this transportation event, and the questionnaire and the answer sheet will be escorted to each test district by police vehicle.   The questionnaires and the answer sheets that have been transferred to the exam district will be kept in separate places under strict security until November 15, the test day. These documents will be transported to 1,279 test sites.   The ministry of Education urged drivers to cooperate and follow officer's directions in case if they run into the transportation vehicles on the road.

• 'Class UP! Wake the Classroom'

  The Ministry of Education will air the 'Class UP! Wake the Classroom' on Youtube from November 10 to January 2, 2024.    This program is designed by 16 episodes. It is about the growth of teachers from all over South Korea to awake the sleeping classroom and revolutionize the contents of class.   'Class UP! Wake the class room' was planned to set the tone of improvement of spontaneous classroom atmosphere and to form a social consensus about innovation of public education   Various examples of student participation classes will be introduced including debating and project class. And teachers share class ideas using artificial intelligence (AI) and educational information technology (EduTec) will be introdued as well.   The first episode, Future Education , will introduce a story of a classroom that is taught by a new teacher and a teacher who will be retired in three years.    Two teacher's generation gaps are as clear as their difference of teaching career. However, their passion of trying to create awake classes using artificial intelligence (AI) and extended virtual world (metabus) shows how they become one beyond generations.    In addition, while these 16 episode will be on air, they are going to introduce how teachers and students grow together as an educational community with teachers' efforts to improve classes.   Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education ,Lee Juho said, "Even during the situation of the fall of teaching authority, we are very thankful for teachers' effort to improve the class silently." and "The Ministry of Education and the provincial office of education, will provide continuous support to teachers who are trying to innovate classes in the field."
