About 99% of wealthy families are likely to use basic water services.About 6 million Filipinos still have open bowel movement, and about 20 million people do not have access to basic hygiene facilities. More than 75 million Filipinos receive basic hygiene services at the national level, but considerable inequality still exists.
In the Philippines, there are many waterborne infectious diseases caused by contaminated water mixed with lime and viruses due to volcanic areas. Furthermore, it is necessary to pay more attention to the active reproduction of various bacteria and micro-organisms here, where hot weather persists. This water is absolutely not suitable for drinking water, but many people still live drinking water mixed with lime. Water is basically what people need in their lives.
